i personally think that the asain cuisines such as thai and chinese are because of the mixture of rice and protien they consume. but they tend to consume heavy portions yet still theres something that keeps them skinnier then a twig lol idk what that is but it works.
but i would like to hear your opinion and why?

the indian food my boyfriend and his friends make seems really healthy to me.
It’s all vegetarian and hardly any rice involved (too much starch and turns to sugar in the body too quickly)
He eats the various vegetable dishes with Roti which is made with durum wheat flour.

I think Asian cuisine such as Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and East Indian foods are healthy. Also try African cuisine. Those dishes use rice and vegetables.

No such thing as healthiest ethnic cuisine.
Any foods eaten in excess can be bad for you.
Some asian foods are very high in fats and sodium.

Chinese, because at home, they eat very little meat. So, their food is primarily vegetables. I don’t know of anything Italian that’s not fattening but that’s what makes it delicious.
This site tells how to select items from ethnic menus that will be the healthiest for you.

I’d say mediterraneun as they cook with olive oil and eat plenty of salads and vegetables along with their grilled fish and pasta.
Some of their sauces are rather rich but you dont have to eat them.
I also thnk greek food is healthy which again is a lot of grilled meats and fish, salads, olive oil, rice, and stews amd pitta breads.
I find chinese food has too many fried items and additives like MSG for me to consider it really healthy Thai food is my least favourite tasting food of all the nationalities I have ever tried (quite a few).
Mexican food if you eat traditionally is also very healthy (tacos rice refried beans and meat- bean soups and stews etc) but you have to love beans and it is not as tasty as tex mex or italian food.

ayurvedically speaking Indian food is very healthy because of the use of spice which help in digestion.

I am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and you can easily find Indian, Thai, Japanese, French, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Malay, Indonesian, Italian and Mexican food ere. And personally I think the Japanese and Korean eat the healthiest food.
